A Reflection on Blogger + some HTML

For the past few months, I have been working on this blog as an assignment in our DMF class, and as I am almost done I decided my final post would be a reflection on Blogger.

As a whole, I gradually went from liking this project, to loving it especially in the past few days. I always had a fondness for writing and I believe this experience solidified my capabilities in writing in English.

I divided my writing process in two parts with the first iteration and later on, the final iteration. The first one was my first experience writing in an english speaking environment and I felt quite nervous. But nevertheless, I pushed through and learned a lot of elements that would help me improve in the future.

However, coming back to my blog for the final iteration a few months later was quite shocking. I was stunned to see how much my writing style has improved over the past few months, so I decide to update every past entries while using Gibbs Reflective Cycle to structure my posts differently and have them be more of a reflection than just a post.  But, at some point I was running out of ideas for the last posts I had left that so I decided to take some risk and I was inspired to talk about media I've been interested in which I was delighted to discuss.

Unfortunately, I do have to mention Blogger's complicated code. I wanted to change the header photo of my blog with one I took (as you can see above) but the picture would always be extremely blurry no matter what I tried. Furthermore the only solution is to edit the code of your blog yourself hence why I had to struggle trying edit the HTML of my blog.

To draw a final conclusion, this assignment was one of the most rewarding project I've worked on, because of it I started to find my personal writing style and in the future, I hope I will be able to continue exploring blogging and writing.
